Hello again everyone, Jenn here. I just want to touch base again, and encourage you all to try some of the recipes listed, try some of the patterns hosted, and post your results! I would love for LMC to be a grow and expand community with all of us working together. I have recently taken up my crocheting again and have been experimenting with some stitches, and I think I will post my results soon so you all can see.
Hopefully soon I will be able to expand our network, and we will be growing ever larger, learning together! I will definitely keep you all updated on that though. But for now... it's time to get back to work!

Hello again everyone, Jenn here. I am behind again on updating you all, and it's about time I did!!! Many new crafts and changes have come in my world, and I am anxious to share them all with you. I have taken some time to learn and conquer them so that I could bring you all ACCURATE information so that if you all want to try them too you get the exact same results. All of my recipes have been fun to make, easy to make and most of all saving me money!! Below is a list of all of the soaps, and detergents I have replaced in my home:
In the up and coming weeks I will be sharing all of my recipes so that you can be independant from the chemicals that manufacturers put into our cleaning supplies. You too can live a cleaner, greener life. That's all I have for now, until next time Happy Crafting!

Hello again everyone! Jenn here. I have been away again for a short while working on other aspects of my crafting interests that tend to make me happy. (YES, I do other crafting besides yarn arts) So, you guys will notice in the Community Post section there's a new category called Homesteading Recipes for you all to see, and it's some of the new recipes and creations I've been making. The pictures for each of them will come very soon. So! In the meantime I hope you all enjoy, and leave comments on what you think.
As for my yarn arts I have been working on a purse order I'm trying my very best to make it absolutely perfect. SO that has been the bulk of my crochet right now, but I've also been working on a hobby project for my husband and I to keep. Well folks that's all for now...

Hello again everyone, it's Jenn here. I have been away for a very long time because of heartbreak. I can now share this with you all, and hope you have mercy upon me. On April 18th my Uncle was rushed to the hospital with liver and kidney failure. He fought hard for 12 days to get better, but lost his fight on May 1st going home to God. I was devastated, and heartbroken, and lost my will to craft anything. That was later compounded by my father going in for spinal surgery on May 28th which... being my only daddy... that had my nerves shot all to heck mixed with the grief and sorrow I was still fighting with because of the loss of Uncle Will. Which, further impacted my ability and readiness to be here for all of you guys.
That brings me to now. I am FINALLY starting to pick up my hook and yarn again and attempt to make things again, but my heart is still heavy, and I know it will take time. I ask you all to please be patient with me, and I still encourage you all to take full advantage of the Community Post section to talk to each other.
Until next time.... Happy Crafting

Hello again everyone, it's Jenn here with the weekly updates. This week has been busy, rewarding, challenging, infuriating and wonderful! I know, weird combo huh? Anyway, as many of you already know I have been a yarn artist for approximately 10 years, and have recently begun to branch out into different crafts that also make me very happy and are useful. For instance, I now make my own laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, body wash, fabric softener and my own "Odor Eliminator spray."
It's amazing how productive and useful I feel when I make something new, when I tried something that WORKED! Oh, it is SO lovely. I'm rambling... sorry folks. So, back on topic here.. If you all want I will share with you the laundry soap recipe that's working for me (and is currently under independent reviews)
Now! Back onto the crochet topic. I have conquered a new avenue in my crocheting arsenal, and this weekend I actually managed to make my very first tank top shirt! I followed along with a video tutorial I found on YouTube from hectanooga1, and made a few of my own additions to make it truly unique to me. I will definitely be posting pictures, and I also hope to get your opinions on it when it's up.
So, for now I must be off to the next wonderful thing to bring you all. Until next time, Happy Crafting~!

Hello again everyone, it's Jenn here again.... FINALLY. For those of you who don't happen to know already, for this short period I have been very sick and was forced to take time away from LMC, but now, I am feeling a little better, and can again begin to promise pictures of my latest and greatest, and HOPEFULLY get you all to interacing here to make LoveMadeCrafts really come alive.
In the time I was very sick I had lost the strength to knit or crochet. I was basically bedridden due to the sheer intensity of whatever it was I was fighting. Now that I am coming out on the other side of this though, I have a new perspective on everything. I am so much more thankful now for being able to crochet or knit even if I can only do it for 5 or 10 minutes at a time. I am still not 100% but I am not taking any more of my time away from you all. So! With that being said, I would like to take this time to make a couple of announcements.
Here on LoveMadeCrafts I have tried to encourage you all to share, and participate and really pull together as a community for mutual encouragement and inspiration. Which brings me about to the first announcement. I am excited to announce that LMC is not only here, but now on Facebook and Twitter! We're branching out and hoping that we can reach the globe by the end of 2014. Second in my announcements, I am a "Jane-of-all-trades" if you will when it comes to crafting.. I knit, crochet, weave, sew and have recently started dabbling in making my own laundry and dishwasher soaps. I feel compelled to share these things with you all for either the common knowledge of it, or just for curiosity's sake.. whichever drives you!
That is all I have for you all right now, but you will definitely be seeing me again soon. To my followers on Facebook, thank you so much for your encouragement, and prayers, I appreciate them so much.
Until next time, happy crafting!

Hello again everyone... it's Jenn here. I must sadly say that I will be forced to take a short hiatus from LMC just for a short while. I have come down sick, very sick, and am being forced to put down my hooks and needles to rest. I do hope that doesnt stop any of you from sharing and creating masterpieces.
I hope to join you all again soon. Until then... happy crafting.

Hello again everyone, Jenn here stopping in to update the news feed ,and some other areas while I"m here. I realized I haven't updated news in over a week. I"m currently chastizing myself for that one. Okay, so! New in the world of LMC, I picked up a new technique that I will soon be featuring both here and on youtube, it's called Crohooking. No, I didnt invent it, however, I think it is so unique and so beautiful I would like to share it with you all. I will be making more videos in the very near future for you guys and myself. My videos won't be heavily edited, I like you all to see me flaws, outtakes and all.
So, I still haven't seen anyone posting in the Community Post section since the Granny Giveaway, I'm still hoping somone will though, so it'll be up for the duration that LMC is online. Feel free to post any kind of project you like! Let your creativity take you on an adventure.
I just finished a purse order recently, I'll show you all what it looked like as a WIP so you can get the feel for it. I loved working on it, but MAN! It was challenging. You'll see why in the picture (black yarn, with black thread, with black fabric!!!!)
Anyway, that is all for now, keep an eye out for the updates, and until next time... Happy Crafting.

Hello again everyone! Jenn here with a few updates. I'm sorry I won't have any new patterns or projects to show you guys, but as the Title says, it's been hectic. I live in Florida where it's either blazing hot, or flaming hot, and my air conditioner had a confirmed death this week. So, we've been frantically trying to get that fixed, WHILE trying to fulfill orders. I'm hoping that by the end of this week the air will be fixed and I will be up and running smoothly again for all of you.
Now, in the meantime, I invite you all to share your creativity here. What I'm going to do it open a Community Post forum for your projects. I would LOVE to see your creativity flow. All of your work will be featured as your work, and credited to you... so you're safe here. Now, all projects are welcome, but I do ask that as you enter text for your project that we bear in mind a PG rating. (It's sad I must highlight this specifically, but I notice that when I don't, bad things happen)
So! I plan to be up and rolling again for you all at the end of this week, and keep your eyes out for the Community Post section dedicated to you all.
In the meantime, happy crafting!

Hello again everyone, Jenn here. It seems I have been way too busy lately. SO, while I have a minute to breathe, I thought I would come in and keep everyone updated.
The latest news in LMC's history is we are trying our best to expand to a physical location, not just online. It's a huge step, and requires alot of planning and smarts to pull it off, but it's always been a dream of mine. When it comes to dreams, I refuse to give up. It's been slow going, and will be longer now but I haven't stopped trying.
The next bit of news is, all of the contest entries from the Granny Giveaway will always have a special place on this site, and with everyone's permission (requests to be sent out either today or tomorrow) I would like to place them in the photo gallery as well under Granny Giveaway entries.
I also want to take this minute to encourage everyone to connect here. I want you all to feel like a community here, and that it's open and welcome. I have opened forums and rooms where all members may add topics and/or reply to topics. Just to help everyone feel welcome and as important as you all really are.
So I think that about does it for this week everyone. My newest projects will be hitting the site soon, and I can't wait to hear what you all think of them.
So until next time, Happy Crafting!
